It started in 2008 when Coral, our owner, decided that she wanted out of her cubical at University of Alaska Fairbanks. She loved photography and dreamed of celebrating it with people. After seeing an article about event photo booths, Coral knew that this growing trend would be a hit with her fellow Alaskan people. It's true, she was right! Not only do Alaskans love photo booths, they also love to gather, laugh and be wild together!
We've taken over 300,000 plus images of friends, co-workers, colleagues, and families sharing incredible moments. The entire APC team is dedicated to make your event one to remember. We can't wait to deliver wild laughter to your event.

Heather Karas was a life-long athlete, internationally ranked Spartan Games competitor, hockey player and super Mama to her twins Michael & Marina. She's our owner's dynamic and amazing little sister. Funny, kind, and the type of person that lit up a room when she arrived with her smile and enthusiasm for life. Heather lost her battle, at 60, to an aggressive gastrointestinal cancer in 2021.

Phyllis Cumming, was an artist, curator, business woman, Alaskan outdoors woman, and our founder's mother. In the 1960's she was part of a grassroots movement that pushed the newly formed Alaska Legislature to fund the Anchorage Museum. Go Mom! She lived a full active life of 80 years young!

Tess Dey is a dynamic and positive women, with a sharp wit and effervescent smile. Her furious zest for life and energy allowed her to beat breast cancer. Her love for her family, friends, community and Alaska are a true gift to all of us. We are honored to have her as a booth namesake. Giggle on!

Bernice Joseph was an Athabaskan Leader and Lover of Life! She was funny and intelligent. She made you feel like you were her friend the moment you met. She served as executive dean of the College of Rural Development at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and was passionate about culturally relevant education. Bernice lost her battle with pancreatic cancer at 49, but her influence on Alaska education continues.

Named after two special Lucy's: Lucille Ball the iconic 1950-60's comedian, producer, and pioneer business woman. A face everyone knows.The other Lucy is special to our founder, her Yup'ik Auntie Lucy Charley, is remembered for her melodious laugh and her gentle strength. This Lucy represents the hidden face of domestic violence of women in Alaska. Our hope is they will be hidden faces no more! Both Lucys were woman of courage, that scaled monstrous barriers and made those they touched smile

Kikkan Randall: athlete, cross country skier extraordinaire, Fastest Woman in Alaska on Skis, 5-time Olympian, 2018 Gold Metal, Community Get-Activist, Active mom and recently returned to Alaska to run The Nordic Ski Association of Anchorage, Cancer Fighter, breast cancer survivor and Thriver! Kikkan is the most delightful, genuine person you would ever want to meet.

Becky Zavrel, is an extraordinary person! A tireless Interior Alaska American Cancer Society volunteer. Her spirit and smile inspires everyone. She was honored as a 2019 BP Teacher of Excellence. She's the mother of three girls, a loving wife, a courageous 3-time cancer survivor and best hugger EVAH!

Kerri Garcia, embodies Alaskan women that love their community and being outdoors. From Fairbanks, Kerri is a skier, marathon runner, teacher, amazing mom of four boys, wife, daughter and friend. She survived an aggressive form of brain cancer to beat all the odds!

Petie named for our owner's mother-in-law Anne Louise (Fisk) Howe her nickname was Petie. She was a gracious, philanthropist, a tireless supporter of the American Cancer Society and skiing pioneer. She was one of the famous skiing Fisk sisters of Vermont. Petie battled three types of cancer, but lived a full life for 84 years leaving us a beautiful family legacy of giving.

We are constantly innovating, but will always remain true to the real photobooth experience of close contact and the true joy of being captured in the act of being our true silly selves. We are devoted to the Alaskan people and organizations that hire us and to their guests whom they entrust us to entertain. We believe in saying "no" to events that conflict with dates and times that are important to our families, but are passionate about the causes that tug at our heart strings. We refuse to underpay our amazing team members, which raises our fees, but we know it's the right way to do business. We are resilient and keep our sight on our shared goal of creating event experiences Alaskans deserve, delivered with smiles and enthusiasm. We don’t settle for anything other than excellence, and we have the self-honesty to admit when we’re wrong and the courage to change. We are committed to keeping all images safe, and respecting individual privacy, rather than sharing them to gain attention.
